Swatches: The Magic Palette By Juvia’s Place

This palette couldn’t have a more fitting name, “The Magic” palette. It is indeed magic. The pigment of the shimmer/foiled shadows is unmatched. No other brand is bringing you this type of quality at this price point. This palette is so versatile offering a board range of colors that are flattering on any skin tone. The shadows blend out easily and there is not much fall out. The matte shadows are buildable. The pigment of the matte shadows is good but not quite on the level of the shimmers. As you can see in the swatches below they leave a little to be desired but as you build and blend they too create beautiful looks.

I know that Juvia’s Place has gotten a bad rep for their customer service so, I felt compelled to share my story about this order. When the presale started, I rushed to the website and placed my order. A couple of weeks later the box arrived, and I received a delivery notice to my email. I rushed home from work to open my package, only to find that one pan was crushed. It sort of spread around the palette and after accidentally turning it wrong, the plastic cover slide off and the shadow crumbled on to the table making a huge silvery mess.

I immediately snapped a pic, attached it to the delivery notice and forwarded it to their customer service email. With in a few minutes they replied thanking me for the picture and said that a replacement would be in the mail and they would let me know the tracking info when shipped. The next day I received the tracking info and boom the new palette was here the day after that! I will continue to recommend these products and this brand. I have nothing but good things to say about them.
